Welcome

The Rotary Club of Prospect/Goshen was chartered in February 1995 as an official entity of Rotary International. It serves the areas of Prospect and Goshen in Both Kentucky counties of Jefferson and Oldham. We are a group of business and professional men and women who strive to give Service Above Self.
Our members meet weekly for breakfast to discuss timely issues and to appreciate each others' interests. Each meeting has a guest speaker who informs us about some subject of interest. Throughout the year, our guest speakers cover local, state, national, and international issues.
Please join us for our next meeting on July 9 where our guest speaker will be Wayne Fowler who will be covering Hand in Hand Ministries.
Our service to this community changes as perceived needs arise and are met. Suggested service projects are presented to our Board of Directors and implemented when feasible. We regularly support and volunteer for the following projects:
- Volunteering for Salvation Army holiday bell ringing
- Providing help at the Boy Scout Adventure Camp for children with special needs
- Conducting free eye examinations at the Kentucky State Fair with the Lion's Club
- Participating in the Unsung Heroes scholarship program in both the Oldham and Jefferson County school systems
- Hosting international business professionals through Rotary's Group Study Exchange program
- Sponsoring local high school students in the local, regional and Rotary District Speech Contest competition
- Supporting the Youth Alive program, thus providing West End Louisville teens with positive activities and mentors
- Providing financial and volunteer support for Smile Kentucky thereby securing for many children the option for dental health.
