The object of Rotary is .to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise.. Vocational service is one of the four avenues by which this ideal of service is implemented.  It reflects the opportunity each club member has to represent the dignity and value of his or her vocation to other Club member, as well as the Club.s responsibility to undertake projects related to such areas as career planning, vocational training, and the promotion of high ethical standards in the workplace.

  • Vocational awards, such as Business Person of the Year, that recognize individuals who exemplify the principles of Rotary: integrity, fairness, good will, community service, etc.
